Swimming Pond

This was a really great, fulfilling job I undertook in Plaxtol, Kent a few years ago and I continue to provide regular maintenance

How it was achieved

• Emptying and removal of an abundance of silt
• Fully lined with a protective underlay and a blue liner (a multitude of other colours/patterns also available!)
• The front edge of the entire inner shelf was built up with a retaining wall which held back the gravelled filter system and planting zones around the whole perimeter, and included a skimmer
• Shallow steps were built up and flat, decorative, stone slabs laid on top, and a decking area was built
• The pump and filters used are Oase

The results

With its existing 3-tier waterfall providing the subtle sound of natural water, this became a haven for both wild and family life to happily co-exist.
